What is play therapy?
Play is a child’s natural language. What better way to work with children then by speaking their language? Play therapy is beneficial to children experiencing grief, anxiety, depression or coping with illness, loss, other traumatic experiences.
Play therapy is also helpful for children exhibiting behavioral difficulties. In circumstances where vulnerable children are unable to express themselves any other way, play therapy is an essential tool in a therapist’s toolbox.
